Madman in the Mirror
What happens when a serial killer raises his child to be just like him?
The Author
The writing spark was first initiated by reading the works of Harlan Ellison. A. J. Gallant is now inspired by such authors as Steven King, J. K. Rowling, Dean Koontz and many others.
The author resides in New Brunswick and is at work on a new Dracula series, with magic, romance, and the battle to save humanity. The first of the vampire trilogy should be available in the first quarter of 2012. Formerly a writer of screenplays, Madman in the Mirror is A. J. Gallant's first novel.
Praise for Madman in the Mirror:
Fascinating peek in the mind of a serial killer
"A highly engrossing tale, "Madman in the Mirror" is a story about a man - Henry Johnson - who is raised by a psychopath and forced to watch - even as a baby - his father murder people on a regular basis. He is also abused and brainwashed, turning him into a sociopath. Henry stalks and murders people efficiently - he tells himself that he may be a killer, but he doesn't want people to suffer. He is haunted by hallucinations, including a specter in his mirror that talks to him." Amazon Review
A Most Imaginative and Brilliant Book
"A very unique and well written book- MADMAN IN THE MIRROR is on a class by itself- and that is a very impressive class at that- A.J. is a master at creating word images that remain with the reader long after the book is finished- the true sign of a great writer" Rick Friedman, Founder The James Mason Community Book Club
